Monster Pencils

I want to get back to doing more illustrations again, so today I wound up going through a few ideas and this was the result.

It's a good start, but I think it still has a long way to do. My focus now is to start getting more depth of field in my work, as well as form and mass. I also want to start experimenting with new coloring techquies for my inks.

For now, here are the pencils as they stand. My main problem is I'm too damn impatient sometimes with my illustrations. It's this feeling of going to my desk, working on something, and just getting mad that I still need to pencil the damn thing when it feels like I'm ready to ink because I've already finished the piece in my head. It's a bad habit that I've had in recent months, and I'm going to work on it.
