This is The End
And 365. Three-hundred and sixty-five straight days of being creative in one way or another.
WOW! What a long, strange trip its been!
If I were to condense this past year down to a few things, I would say that it was the best thing I could have done at this point in my life. While I may have originally wanted to do an amazing piece every day, to focus on my illustation and design, the main takeaway is that you never know what tomorrow may bring, and you never know how an idea will develope.
As an illustrator, I experimented with some new technquies. As a designer, I started to push myself to try new and more experimental things. As a web designer, I focused on developing my skills and being more creative in my layouts.
My biggest regret is not pushing myself more as a photographer. I tried new things, but I wished I had focused on honing my skills more.
The best thing to come from this project would have to be myself. I may have had some rough patches, I may have had dry spells, but I NEVER gave up! After that, it would be my art show, my new clients, and all the new people I've met.
It's been a hell of a year. On the plus side, I'm looking forward to not having to rush to do something creative one hour before midnight!
