Lizard Monster

Another day, another digital sketch. This has been a really fun experiment process for me, even if the results are mixed. Its given me a chance to actually mix colors and experiment with a few things I never have before without the fear of wasting a ton of money on paints.

I did this one half-awake. I kept nearly falling asleep while watching TV and spent about 30 minutes on this.

The thing that's been killing me about my monsters are how under-developed the faces seem to be and monotomous the mouths can become. I come up with an awesome pose but no follow-through. I tried to cure that, but instead history repeated itself. On the plus side, I'm trying to find a way around it.
